( Gen
1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
This is the opening shot heard around the universe (Psalms 19:1) and
the foundation (Psalms 102:25) on which the behavior of man rest (Psalms
2:1) and all biblical truth (Col.1: 17). Secular histories, laws,
benevolent acts, political movements and cultures are directly tied into
man’s acceptance of Genesis opening statement all else is secondary at
best. This is not to say that the belief in Genesis 1:1 is salvation, but
this is the foundation of the Bible itself.
Heb 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is
a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Man may lay corrupt bricks on this foundation (Isa.65: 3), rather the
unhewn stones of truth (Ex.20: 25), but if this foundation is not present
all else is superficial and there is no mortar or remedy.
2Ch 36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his
words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against
his people, till [there was] no remedy.
If you believe in a Creator, all this proves is you have as least as
much common sense as a devil. The devils have no hope, yet any man while
there remains breath has. This shows us that the average man has less
sense than the devils and is WILLFULLY blinded.
James 2:19 Thou believest
that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and
tremble.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world
are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even]
his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Many a lost religious sinner has trusted the Gospel of the Grace of
God, but beforehand believed in Genesis 1:1 in some form or other before
hearing the Good News.
(Isa 48:13) Mine hand also hath laid the
foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens:
[when] I call unto them, they stand up together.
Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am
fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy
works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.
POINTS TO PONDER.
- Any man that does not believe in Genesis 1:1 is not to be trusted.
He may practice moral conduct and discipline because it is beneficial
in business or self-preservation. But this looking over the shoulder for
fear of the authorities (Matt 22:17 Rom. 13:4)
or caring for the flesh (Job 2:4) is no better than a gingerly
jackal with a wallet. Given a chance to benefit himself without any
repercussions he will do so.
Conscience in most men is but the anticipation of the opinion of
others (Taylor).
Taylor’s statement, as with most famous quotes, maybe helpful but
only the Bible can cover all the bases. For any man who does not believe
in creation will only fear men if it is to their advantage, at the time
to do so, once they are in position to be above it the law of the jungle
will prevail.
Jud 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers,
walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling
[words], having men's persons in admiration because
of advantage. Psa 55:21 [The words] of his mouth were smoother
than butter, but war [was] in his heart: his words were softer
than oil, yet [were] they drawn swords. 1Tim 4:2 Speaking lies in
hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
For if those that do believe in Genesis 1:1 are not to be trusted
completely how much less should those that do not!
Psa 118:8 [It is] better to trust in the LORD
than to put confidence in man.

- A man’s rejection of the biblical account of Creation can turn him
into self-destructive fool.
I know of no other person to illustrate this FACT then Charles Darwin
himself. Please do not give the line that old line that he was not an
atheist, but a scientist (1 Tim. 6:20). He called himself an agnostic
and a theist is this not and oxymoron in the making. But perhaps the
fathering of his children proved he was a blind self-destructive fool.
He was so sure of selective breeding he breed misery and woe into his
own life.

Do not worry the public school system will not bring
this up in the indoctrination classes at school, sorry I meant science
class.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
- A man who rejects Genesis 1 will reject the Gospel.
You see there are many so called Christians out in this insane
battered ball, but in the Scripture there is no such thing as a
Christian that rejects Gen. 1:1.
God did not help the monkey out and have him become a homoerectus and
evolve into modern man.
If it were possible any self-respecting ape would sue the human race
for slander both against his Creator and his offspring.

The Bible leaves any man at the fork of the road, there are no
U-turns –he must choose. Silence is a vote of unbelief.
You cannot make Jesus your Saviour and a liar at the same time for he
believed and supported the Genesis account.
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God
made them male and female.
Abraham’s answer is applicable to those that reject the Genesis
account of IN The Beginning as concerning the Gospel.
(Luke 16:31) And he said unto him, If they hear
not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one
rose from the dead.
Moses, Solomon and Isaiah spoke of the beginning of God’s creation,
as did others. The rich man in hell was directed to the authority of the
Writ and so it is today with all men.
- The child of God treasures the words
"IN THE BEGINNING".
While none of us can comprehend in the beginning much less before
the beginning it blesses us with the following.
- It increases our love for the Lord.
For if he that knows the end from the beginning than surely he
knows me.
Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from
the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not
[yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my
pleasure:
Before I was formed in
the womb he knew me and he knows my uprisings and my failures and sins and
even secret sins and from the beginning he knew that he would love and
have his precious Son die for my sins.
Isa 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and
he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all
[things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth
abroad the earth by myself;
(John 2:25) And needed not that any should
testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the
earth, will draw all [men] unto me.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into
judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether
[it be] evil.
B. He that holds the beginning in his hand makes
us feel secure.
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and
the end, the first and the last.
Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done [it],
calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and
with the last; I [am] he.
The Lord because he fails not and his promise of salvation is not
bothered by time.
Rom 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to
come, (39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
C. Love is nothing new to the Father before the
beginning he loved.
1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Was there ever a time that he loved not before Genesis 1?
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they
may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast
sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom
thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory,
which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the
world.
In order to be called love, as God is he has to have an object to show
forth his affection. The Son has always been as well as the Father there
was never a time that the Father did not love for the object of his love
was the Son. The Child of God can know that from the beginning and before
it God has always loved. He will never stop loving you.
Partners may promise love with the qualifier of till death do we part.
Yet from the moment of our salvation and the beginning of our
relationship with the Son there is no end of his love.
John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me,
and have believed that I came out from God.
5. The unregenerate man hates the term "In the
beginning" and tries his best to avoid it or alter the implications.
Gen 1:1 in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
The owner of this sphere is God and all that is upon it.
Psa 50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world
[is] mine, and the fulness thereof.
He that made it in the beginning can and will destroy it and no man,
nation or force can stay his hand.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great
noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and
the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Deu 32:39-41 See now that I, [even] I,
[am] he, and [there is] no god with me: I kill, and I make
alive; I wound, and I heal: neither [is there any] that can deliver
out of my hand. (40) For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for
ever. (41) If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on
judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them
that hate me.
Seeing that he is the owner of it all, all men are under
his rule and judgement and will me.
Gen 18:25b Shall not the Judge of all the earth do
right?
J ohn 12:48 He that
rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the
word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole
matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the
whole [duty] of man.
In closing it all boils
down to "IN THE BEGINNING"!

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if
any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture.
